Logistic Supervisor

Responsibilities:
- Responsible upon all logistic staff job descriptions
- Completion, submission and follow up of applications for import licenses throughout the complete process
- Plans and schedules appropriate modes of transportation based on daily needs and maintain a cost effective balance
- Analyzes services failures/issues and implements performance processes to enhance future service delivery
- Ensure any company policy, systems, and industry related training is delivered to all direct reports as needed
- Identifying and delivering operational cost reduction and cost avoidance initiatives
- Organize and arrange proper handling of packaging and packaged products up to dispatch
- Investigate any discrepancy and recommend corrective action upon documentation
- Work closely with freight forwarders and supplier’s representative to ensure service satisfaction
- Coordinating with all required freight carriers including negotiating prices and conditions regularly for the benefits of the company
- Evaluation upon all subordinate level
- Ensure logistic staff is well trained and supervised for their job in logistics area
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree, any field
- At least 4 years experience in handling Logistic and Import administration
- Good understanding in import procedures and processes
- Excellent command in English both oral and written
- Detail oriented and well organized
- Able to work independently and team player
